I’ve had the pleasure of knowing little Blake’s parents for several years now. It all started with their engagement pictures back in 2009. It is hard to believe it has been that long! In 2010, I photographed their beautiful wedding, and then in 2013 we had a maternity session. So it’s only natural that their next session would include their handsome baby, Blake, for his baby pictures. He is quite the cheerful baby! It’s obvious when you meet this little guy that he is just surrounded with a loving family that would do anything for him.
We met in Lafayette Park on a sunny Sunday that was slated for rain. But luck was on our side and it was nothing less than glorious. Lafayette Park is a beautiful area in a historic district in St. Louis. It’s a beloved spot in the neighborhood and a great area for pictures.
Needless to say, I think Blake loved his baby pictures and he’ll be a ham for years to come!
This is the first time i got to meet Blake and he was smiling instantly.
He absolutely loved the camera. He would watch as I made silly faces or crazy noises and was just intrigued by the whole act.
The swans in the lake were obviously used to having people around. This guy must’ve wanted his picture taken too. He tried to photobomb on several occasions.
I love the big smiles everyone gave in this picture! It was obvious they were having so much fun.
This little guy was excited to take pictures with his mom and dad.
We wrapped up the session with a few pictures of mom and dad by themselves. I love the smiles these two bring out of each other!
