Many, many years ago, I got my start in photography by photographing local bands. It was mutually beneficial- they received free photos and I gained experience and free access to the show. So when this nice group of guys asked me to photograph them, it was a welcomed blast from the past. Not only are they fantastic subjects, but they put out some pretty fantastic music as well.
